June 12, 200223 yr Can someone tell me how to make a Virtual Cockpit for fs2002? I have FSDS,Gmax,Truespace,Aircraft Animator. What is used?? Out of Gmax how do I get the model into FSDS to make it a MDL or how is that process done? I made aircraft for FLY! but never fs.Justin
June 12, 200223 yr Depending on whether you're building your model in FSDS or gmax, you use fsds or gmax. There are a couple of tutorials on the matter at FFDS (http://www.freeflightdesign.com), one for both programs. Also, make sure you download the various aircraft-building SDKs from Microsoft's site.At this time, you cannot export and convert a gmax model to FSDS, you CAN export an FSDS model and import it into gmax.IF you've mad aircraft for FLY!, you have the modelling process down.
June 12, 200223 yr Do you have the website for the SDK's??? I been looking but no luck. With the moving parts in FS2002 how do I set those up, in FLY I just set it's axes then programed it, in FLY2 you must animate it =(Justin
June 12, 200223 yr . For that aircraft animation stuff you will need MakeMDL SDK. Download other SDK's as needed.RegardsDoc
