From a newbie to aircraft repaintingCan anyone direct me to a tutorial on how to repaint default FS2002 aircraft? Are the default FS2002 aircraft the same as GMAX? I seem to be able to easily edit the bmps on GMAXs I've downloaded, but cannot access the bmps on the default aircraft.

The default aircraft that come with FS2002 are all GMax, so you should be able to paint them over easily. Make sure you have a program to convert the dxt format to normal bmp's for editing.You can try www.freeflightdesign.com for tutorials and any other help for that matter.Good luck.Udo.:-wave
