December 27, 2025Dec 27 I recently bought a few button switches and want to modify my cockpit, but I have no idea where to start. I'd appreciate some guidance. Current situation: I have several illuminated rocker switches and 22mm latching buttons, as well as an Arduino board, but I don’t understand circuit connections or programming. My main questions are: How do I connect the buttons to the Arduino? Do I need additional resistors? How can I make the computer recognize these buttons as game controllers? How can I make the button lights change according to the game status (e.g., green light on when the engine starts)? I hope experienced friends can share basic wiring diagrams or code templates.
