Hi,I working on a pfd where the attitude card isn't sharp when flying is there a setting in fs 2002 which have overseen?Check the attitude bank pointer and the figures in the card. The images are 8 bit bitmaps and I am using mask images as well.I have seen other pfd which doesn't get blurred so what can I do to make them sharper?BrgdsEugen

Hi Bill,I am sorry I dont really understand? I am working in xml and I have had some strange experiences whem mixing with 24 and 8 bits specially masks.Do you mean that I should have the mask in 8 bit and the card in 24 bit ? BrgdsEugen

Hi,problem solved. Thanks for your help :-)BrgdsEugen

>Hi, >>problem solved. >>Thanks for your help :-) You're welcome... but, what was the solution for you exactly?

Hi again,One of the mask bitmaps was 24 bit and I changed to 8 bit and then it worked. Probably missed converting that one to 8 bit.BrgdsEugen

>Hi again, >>One of the mask bitmaps was 24 bit and I changed to 8 bit >and then it worked. Probably missed converting that one to 8 >bit. OK... That will do it! What I meant to say before is that you can't mix-n-match the two formats.I use 24bit for those gauges that have a lot of detail and need the extra resolution, 8 bit for everything else.BTW, be sure to check out my thread "Hot Diggity Damn" for details on how to backlight individual gauges in the VC.I hope more people will begin using this now that the "cat's out of the bag!" :)
