Thanks for the reply. I have tired to add a bmp. file(texture) in gmaxbut it doesn't allow any type of altered bmp. file that has any effect added to it. Do I cut out the windows for the aircraft and place a standard bmp file (texture) to it and then apply the same bmp with a effect(alpha) converted to the texture and then put it in the aircrafts texture folder? Thanks,

FYI -- Here is what glass looks like when rendered in ProE. Maybe FS200X wil have such an engine. Bet it does before I buy my last version. ;-)http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3db58c78669a0141.jpgAnd here is a prblem I am having with glass.http://mtco.com/~rsam/GLASSHELP1.jpghttp://mtco.com/~rsam/GLASSHELP2.jpgIf you want glass that looks like you find at the above rendering from FS, email me at rsam@mtco.com and I will send you the gmax file of the glass and door frame and can go in and see what settings I used. No alpha map used.Bob
