3 View for Gmax Viewport Background

Featured Replies

Where is everyone getting thier resources for creating aircraft? In particular, 3 view drawings/pictures (same scale) for the viewport background. Also, what other kinds of resources are being used?Justin

I usualy use 3 view drawings and cut them up in the 3 separate pics and import as background in G-max. You can find plenty of drawings at www.suurland.comYou can find some 3view models to import into 3D max, I don't know if they work with G-MAx, you can find them herehttp://www.boeing.com/assocproducts/aircompat/3d_view.htmlMike

Apart from the site mentioned, (I like suurland because it incorporates Eduardo's page), modelling magazines, aviation magazines (Air Illustrated, Air Forces Monthly, etc) usually have good three views.I get many three-views from books "World Encyclopedia of Civil Aircraft, etc."Felix

Hi Felix. I have checked all these sites. Have you ever located 3-views of the Ted Smith/Piper Aerostar. Having difficulties finding them. Finally, had to use 3-views out of the POH. But, would like to find something with alittle more detail. ThanksDave>Apart from the site mentioned, (I like suurland because it >incorporates Eduardo's page), modelling magazines, aviation >magazines (Air Illustrated, Air Forces Monthly, etc) usually >have good three views. >>I get many three-views from books "World Encyclopedia of >Civil Aircraft, etc." >>Felix
