December 4, 200223 yr Howdy all,Ok... I'm having the darndest time with this. I'm looking to try and make a repaint of an aircraft or 10 sometime down the line, and I was trying to play with it this morning here.Unfortunately, I cant seem to even open the texture files to edit them. If I try to open them with M$ Paint, I just get a white sheet. If I attempt to open it with Photoshop 6.0, I get an error message that states could not open "c:...*.bmp because the file format module cannot parse the file." Or something close to that.It doesn't matter if I'm trying to open a default plane, or downloaded alike. What do I need to do to repaint? Sorry for such a basic question, but I'm stumped.~Nate

Well, the readme instructions are pretty clear on this topic... :)Load the image with the "Load Extended Bitmap" tool.Double click the image to send it to the paint program.Exit the paint program, say yes when asked if you want to save the file.Save as Extended Image (type DTX3 w/alpha)Done.
