I created a group around the two objects making up the stick and handle, then animated the group for left and right.Now, before you say this does not work, I know that creating combination movements on single objects by placing one on the object and another on the group does work with the stock animations. you have the tag wrong...should be lever_stick_fore_aft you have control_stick_knob02the animation looks straight, If you rename the handle, should work.joe

thanks for taking a look, the control_stick_knob02 is just the knob, which is linked to the lever_stick_fore_aft and should move with it, the animation is placed only on lever_stick_fore_aft for fore and aft movement, for side to side movement, animation is placed on the group lever_stick_l_rSteve
