Textures don't show after using Image Tool

Featured Replies

I know that I can make textures show when using DXTBmp but when I use Image Tool the textures of the aircraft I painted don't show. I just get chrome on the whole aircraft. What do I have to do in Image Tool to get the textures to show in FS2002?

The reason you are getting the chrome effect is because you have your alpha layer set to one whole color. You need to break it up a little. A friend of mine, Owen Hewitt, showed me this. If you take and make parts of you alpha layer where there are no aircraft parts visible, and make them a different color than the rest of your alpha layer. This will fix the problem. The end result is that you have more than one color in your alpha layer. Thanks Owen for sheding some light on that for me. Now I have been able to share the same fix that you once taught me.Kobie :-wave
