Flexing Wings

Featured Replies

What should a wing part be called to enable keyframe animation for it to flex? I know the animation is linked to the landing gear, but I just want to make sure that the wing is/isn't actually given a gear part name with it's parent being the compressed gear. Thanks!-AV

The tags are l_gear_wing_flex and the same goes for the right wing, which is called r_gear_wing_flex. You don't have to link it to the gear. Hope it helps.Take care,Udo.:-wave

Thanks!-AV

Alright I'm having a little trouble here. First of all I am using FSDS2. Does the wing have to be split up in different parts and each part animated separately to simulate the flex? That's what I'm trying to do now. Wouldn't this make the wing more difficult to texture? Am I going about this the wrong way? Thanks for any help.
