missing parts/FX in multisession mode

Featured Replies

Hello,I'm having a problem in multisession mode where my friend's aircraft (same as mine) is often missing parts and/or FX, depending upon the aircraft models we're flying. Missing items include landing gear (aircraft sits at proper height/attitude on the ground, just no gear/wheels), no vapor trails at 30k, static propeller visible in flight - no blurred prop.My aircraft appears just fine. Now from my friend's point of view, the situation is reversed and my aircraft is missing parts/FX, but his are ok.Is this a naming convention issue when building in gmax (if so, what?) or a parameter issue in the aircraft.cfg file?thanks in advance,-Elliot

hey, this may or may not help, we are still testing...in your FS2002.cfg file find these linesALLOW_PLANE_MODEL_SEND=0ALLOW_PLANE_MODEL_RECEIVE=0ALLOW_TEXTURE_SEND=0ALLOW_TEXTURE_RECEIVE=0change to thisALLOW_PLANE_MODEL_SEND=1ALLOW_PLANE_MODEL_RECEIVE=1ALLOW_TEXTURE_SEND=1ALLOW_TEXTURE_RECEIVE=1this may just effect gmax models, like I said no solid testing has been done. Please report your findings so I can pass them on.joe

I'll give it a try - soon as I get my next chance to multi-session.Thanks for the suggestion Joe.-Elliot

I forgot to mention... Everyone in the MP session has to make these changes.

I tried the suggested edits, but problem persists. Please note however that although I instructed my flying partner to do the same, I cannot verify if he did so correctly at this time.thanks again,-E
