April 2, 200323 yr Like many of us I sometimes like to take the passenger seat and look out over the wing and as many aircraft designers put a lot of work into their aircraft it seems a shame to look at an inanimate photograph of a real wing rather than the model, many of which have excellent working flaps etc. I have been playing about with the eye_view in the panel.cfg file to give some good wing views of many aircraft but with some aircraft the wing is not visible at all from an internal view, only from the spot view. Is there a way to show the wings etc. from an internal view or is this something the designer has forbidden? Thanks
April 2, 200323 yr For models being made now, parts in the virtual cockpit model can be seen "from the inside" in normal mode.If I copy and include my wings/flaps ailerons (basically, all the parts I can "see" from inside the cockpit) a part of the virtual cockpit model, these parts will also be "visible" from the "normal" view.To a degree, then, if it isn't "built in" you can't see it.
