Question about landing light variables....

Recommended Posts

Guest sphing

Hi,Please explain the following variables:...from the Parameters.doc in the FS2002 SDK:LIGHT LANDING...from the TokenVar.doc in the FS2002 SDK:LANDING_LIGHTS...from the EventIDs.doc in the FS2002 SDK:KEY_LANDING_LIGHTS_TOGGLEKEY_LANDING_LIGHT_UPKEY_LANDING_LIGHT_DOWNKEY_LANDING_LIGHT_LEFTKEY_LANDING_LIGHT_RIGHTKEY_LANDING_LIGHT_HOMEKEY_LANDING_LIGHTS_ONKEY_LANDING_LIGHTS_OFFKEY_LANDING_LIGHTS_SETIt seems that the "variables" only give an ON or OFF status, but the "KEY events" show much more can be done with the landing lights. Please explain what each of these do.Thanks,John

Although I haven't tried these events in a gauge, they seem to correspond to "aiming" the landing light cone around, as you can do from cockpit with ctrl+arrows or some other keycombo. The Cessna C208 has a bug in this respect, in that they are mirrored and move in oposite direction. Don't think the real one has this though.
