Just a simple question...

Hi everyone. I am simply writing to ask any of you advice on whether to use Editable Poly or Editable Mesh when designing aircraft. I have personally only worked with Editable Poly and noticed in these forums, that my resulting objects look nothing like they do. I'm also dumbfounded by the detail. Could someone enlighten me please?

well, different tasks call for both, but make sure when you export you convert the whole bananna to an Epoly. cuts the poly count in half :-) or souse Epoly when you perform any cutting ops.I try not to let a booled Epoly get converted to a mesh, causes a mess. It's easier to texture a mesh, imo. You have to be real careful when you do UVW's on a Epoly.the worst thing you'll notice is the shading going hay wire, usually converting back to Epoly solves that.sometimes i just use VOODOOO... ;-)joe

I fully agree that Epoly's are better. I guess it's just a matter of tinkering around with it. Thanks alot. :-)
