I've got the basics down but I'm wondering if there is a good tutorial on repainting planes with photoshop 7. Dealing with alpha channels and stuff too.

I use Photoshop 7 and used [a href=http://www.gjsmith.com/Tutorial/step_1.htm]the GJSmith tutorial[/a]. It's written for PaintShop but if you know Photoshop reasonably well you should be OK. Otherwise download PaintShop - I think it's free..

I believe that PSP5 "full product" shipped with some graphics magazines.
