August 29, 200322 yr Hi, I have a simple question..When one repaints the default DC3 plane (or any as a matter of fact) how is the texture underneath (rivets and metal) shown through your new paint? If I were to add a new logo to the fusealage do I make it opaque so the rivets and such show through or do I paint rivets and such over the logo? any help is greatly appreciated.CheersPhil
August 30, 200322 yr An interesting tip that I saw on another forum may be of some help.Make a new layer, set the layer to "multiply" mode (instead of normal opaque). For most colors, you'll get a "see through" effect in which your panel lines, rivets etc., will show through a bit, overpainted with whatever you're putting on top.The catch, of course, is that you're better of with a "clean" base texture, since if you're putting something trying to cover a stripe, or other logo, that will show through, as well.Felix/FFDSPegasus Aviation Design
