MY FS02 APTS FS09 ??

Featured Replies

HI, When i move my FS02 APTs to a New Disk on FS09 I can see the GPS feathers but NO TEXT or ID's of Names/codes.How do I get the codes on the maps and GPS screens.Where is the AFD file in FS09, or how do I use Airport 2.9 to get the codes on the moving map.thanks

The AFD data is part of the airport bgl itself in FS2004. The FS2004 gps cannot read AFD data from FS2002, although it can display FS2002's airports. I don't know whether airport 2.9 supports the AFD data format of FS2004, as no SDK's been released yet... If it does, you may be able to get some assistance in the scenery design forum...-John

Hi John,Thanks I can understand now that i have to reinstall my old airports with an new airport maker for FS 9regardsMalcolm
