VC moving parts

Featured Replies

I am an FSDS2 builder and was wondering how one gets the levers (ie GEAR) to move using the mouse when building in FSDS?

Start with getting the MS MakeMdl SDK for all the names to assign to the VC animate'able (is that a word?) objects. These are referred to as tags. Look for lever_xxxxx tags.Once named correctly, and animated in FSDS2, they will be moveable in the VC.Also, any gauge from the 2D panel will be clickable in the VC by default. You do nothing more than add the gauges to the VC panel. You can get the SDK's here:http://zone.msn.com/flightsim/FS02DevDeskSDK00.aspMilton

I got the MAKEmodel SDk but the input line asks for an .X file???

Forget about that part of the SDK. As an FSDS2 user, you want to concentrate on the part names (tags), and what they do.In the FSDS2 parts properties drop down box you can choose the part name, but you still need to know what each tag does.Felix/FFDSPegasus Aviation Design
