GMAX Game Pack?

Featured Replies

Question - I found the GMAX installer OK on the FS2004-ACOF disc, but I'm not seeing the game packs and so forth. I read on the MS site that it was in the GMAX folder inside the game folder. But there IS no GMAX folder inside the game folder on my complete install and I have a valid tin-box copy of FS2004 from EB Games. So where do I get the game pack with makemdl and imagetool and all that? Searching for a download on the MS site doesn't seem to come up with anything. Am I just confuised here, or is there some thing I need to know? LOL! Thanks!Cheers!Rick...

The Microsoft information refers to the FS2002 Professional Edition. While gmax is included in disc 1 of FS2004, it is expected that the necessary converters/gamepack for Fs2004 is to be released with the FS2004/FS9/FS-ACOF SDKs - no date indicated for release.FS2004 models are being released by folks eitherwith FSDS2, or with the FS2002 gamepack, desiging to the FS2002 SDKs, plus whatever information has been deduced by experimentation.Felix/FFDSPegasus Aviation Design

MakeMdl is/was also available in the MakeMdk SDK at MicroSoft.
