Limiting N2 to 100%?

I am trying to write a gauge to limit N1/N2 to 100% so that CN1/CN2 drop with higher mach numbers on a fighter jet. The gauge will hold 100% N2 all the time, and if I add code to make it conditional on throttle position, it stops working. (A:ENG1 N2 RPM,percent) 100 > (A:GENERAL ENG1 THROTTLE LEVER POSITION,percent) 95 > && if{ (>K:THROTTLE_DECR) } els{ (>K:THROTTLE_DECR) }It won't do anything like this, but if I eliminate the throttle position portion it holds 100% all the time regardless of throttle position.Bruce

The limits of the air file don't allow me to maintain 100% indicated N1/2 through the entire speed range up to Mach 2.0 . If I set section 1504 to acheive 100% N1/2 at mach 2.0, the N1/2 will be too low at Mach 1.0, or if I set it to get 100% N1/2 at Mach 1.0, N1 is way too high at Mach 2.0 . The relationship between CN1/2 and N1/2 isn't linear through the entire speed range within which I am working. This is why I want to create a gauge to govern maximum N1 at 100% regardless of Mach number.

Hello,now I understand what you want to do. There are several columns for different Mach nums and you can add quite a few to program the limits to vary with MN. This is in principle but FS9 may have modified how these tables are interpreted.
