Seat height

Hello everyone,I'd like to adjust the seat height in the panel config, but dont know what numbers to adjust and how much. I can adjust the zoom which I set up for all my aircraft. But the seat height is something I'd like to know more about. Maybe if there is a good web site that talks about it also.Whatever anyone can help me on...Thanks!Ed Jenkins

Ed,Seat height is adjusted in the aircraft.cfg Viewpoint statement. It has the same affect as using the shift+enter/backspace in the VC, except it is permanent or the default position. This is usually set at the pilot's eye. An easy way to check this is by using a light in the light section to verify coordinates. Example:eyepoint=5.774,-1.131, -0.229 long/lat/vert from the reference point.The panel.cfg allows you to change "pitch", just like using the shift+enter/backspace in the 2D window. Example:VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=2.0, 0.0, 0.0 sets the forward out-of-window view up 2 units. (Pitch, bank, heading)
