Newbie Question on 1st POSKY Repaint

Featured Replies

Hi, there.I'm trying to do my first repaint, and I'm starting off with the POSKY 767-300 paintkit. I've scoured the POSKY forums, and read Gary Hayes' tutorials (http://forum.projectopensky.com/index.php?showtopic=5297).His tutorial has you combine the bodyl, bodyr, doors, and engines textures into one file so you have a complete fuselage to work with. Makes sense.Except I've downloaded paintkits for a few POSKY airplanes, and they don't have any body textures at all. The closest (most generic) texture file I can find is 767ws_t.bmp...and that doesn't look like anything recognizable...it's 3 geometric shapes in shades of pastel gold. There's engine, wing, and even uniform textures, but I don't see anything in the way of a body or part of a body that could be stitched together. Can anyone give me some guidance on where to get (or how to create) the body textures to create a fuselage to work with? Thanks!

If i can remember correct there is a file called 763nosetail_t and 763center_t (not spelled 100% good but I think you get the point) those are for the fuse, the center one also includes the tail. make sure you convert them to a format which your paint program can read before trying to paint.

Ok, thanks Albert. I'll look for those....
