Wingflex oddity

Recommended Posts

Guest CX330_CPA Virtual

Hey all, i have a question.I am developing the FDE for an upcoming release of FS2004 airplane. On the model for this plane the wingflex does not work until the gear starts going up.In detail, after rotation and lift off the wings stay flat, once i hit the gear-up button the wings start the animation and flex up to its supposed / flexed position, insync with the gear.Does any one have an idea what might causing this? I am inclined to think that this is not the FDE caused bug because I tried switching to a default fde which produced exactly the same effect, no flex until the gear goes up.Any input is appreciated.

Sounds like you have your wing flex animation tied to the upper gear instead of the lower (suspension) part. Animation would therefore need to take place in the frame range of 100-200 instead of 0-100.See also my response over at FFDS.
