Engines do not start

Featured Replies

When porting some FS2002 aircraft into FS9 they suffer from an inability to start and run the engines. Is there a missing value in the aircraft.cfg file that causes this?boneshttp://fsaviation.net

Greetings,Here is the solution I used with the FS2002 defaultCorsair for example:Look in the aircraft.cfg for the "piston_engine" section, then look for the line:normalized_starter_torque=0.2000The above value was "0.035" in FS2002, needed to increaseto "0.200" for FS9.The FS9 value was found by trial and error, works for CFS2planes as well....Hope this helps :)JR

It did indeed JR - many thanks for that tip..boneshttp://fsaviation.net
