Tom,Is this an issue with an aircraft you are building, or one or more aircraft you are flying?I can think of at least 3 ways that might work for you if building one.1. Change the angle of the lights, maybe more downward.2. Copy and modify the effect bmp in the Effects/Textures folder3. Change the effects file to lessen distanceIf this is for aircraft you are flying, then it helps to not have taxi lighths on with landing lights. Use one or the other, not both.

I think that the landing lights effects are built into the MDL file, so it may not be possible unless you have access to that file.Just a thought.Steve
