June 9, 200421 yr Hi, I am looking for a stable way of converting Gmax files into FSDS. I currentlly have a part I built in Gmax, because it was more fitting to do so, but the plane I am building is in FSDS. I know there are ways involving exporting it using the Quake 3d mdl, the using 3d Exploration to convert it to Autocad, then importing the Autocad file into FSDS. Unfortunately, my trial period for 3d Exploration is up and I really don't want to pay $150.00 for the convenience of converting files. What I am looking for is a permanent way to do this, with a program I already have. Currently, I have at my disposal (if not on this machine), the following design programs:Autocad3ds Max 5GmaxFSDS 2The CVA ConverterDoes anyone have any suggestions?Kevin

You will find it about mid page.http://www.dsmith.gmaxsupport.com/Essential_Tools.htmRegards,BobSSeems the rage to talk about the "size and speed" of each others computer. Beat this if you can for solving novel/unique problems.. ..Have K&E and know how to use it!
