Float Plane Takeoff Characteristics

Recommended Posts

Guest Comancheguru

Is there a way to dynamically change the C od G for float planes to accurately simulate takeoff'sA float acts like a boat's hull where the center of lift changes - which explains why float planes get very nose high at low speeds in the water - then get "on step" where the wing angle is kept until flying speed obtained. The float equipped aircraft like the C208 in FS9 always get to flying speed and "pop" into the air drastically. Thanks Comancheguru:-walksmile
