invisable aircraft and invisable landing lights

Featured Replies

what causes certain aircraft to be invisable from the cockpit view?i can see them from an external view, but not when in the cockpit.same thing with the landing lights, external view..shining bright, in the cockpit..no landing lights.odder still i can see the invisable planes navigation and strobe lights, but no plane.do invisable planes reflect a problem with the invisable plane or the user plane? same question about the landing lights...can it be fixed?

Check FS9.CFG for SEE_SELF, it should be 1.

1) there is no VC2) There is no panel3) Used landing lights for other lighting like pane effect.4) Did not code landing lights properly in model5) did not compensate for "shine through" in effects file for beacon lights6) textures replaced by other add-ons that break existing models...There are a whole host of other possible reasons why aircraft may be odd. If its your own aircraft, you can fix it all. If it is somebody elses, you could add a panel and tweak the effects, but model specific things like landing lights may not be reparable.CheersShad

thats some list.there is no virtual cockpit.the plane did not come with a panel, i am making one.its is not my plane. so gong back in with gmax or something probably cant fix the landing lights?

If you have the model source code, yes. If not, no. Unfortunately many things are hard coded into the source. (I find it hard to mention "The Source" these days with out having visions of Neo in The Matrix, heheh. :) )CheersShad
