say i wanted to program a button on a gauge to press the 'H' key on the keyboard, how would a do that ?

thanks for the responce but...i know how to trap and capture a key stroke on the key board, what i want is to create a key stroke.say for instance; i know the key strokes to initiate a responce from a c++ gauge, but do not have the internal variable name or was not able to reach the variable from XML i could still create a control for that gauge by creating a key stroke (other then with the keyboard)
