November 14, 200619 yr The alerts sounds for "Terrain, Pull up" and "Sinkrate" are way too loud, and scare me half to death. I would like not to hear them at all. How do I disable them? I know these sound files are not in my FS9 main sound folder, and not in any of my aircraft sound folders...so I suspect they are gauge controled.I hear these warnings only in my B717 and MD80 panels (freeware)... but I know nothing about gauges and MXL files. Thanks for you help in advance.Eric
November 15, 200619 yr I had the same problem but someone gave me the advice to fix it.http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...id=30837&page=2Just add this to your .cfg and edit to how you want it;[GPWS] max_warning_height = 1000 sink_rate_fpm = -1500 excessive_sink_rate_fpm = -2000 climbout_sink_rate_fpm = -100 flap_and_gear_sink_rate_fpm= -1000 If you change the first line to 0 instead of a 1000 the problem should go. Either that or put the sink rate to something very high. I did both.Cheers,Jez
