747 (PMDG) with Rob's Groundhandling

Recommended Posts

Hello, folks!I have installed Rob's Graoundhandling tool on my 747 panel. However, the button is overlapped by the main panel. In order for the button to be visible, I have to move it up somewhere over the windshield.Anyone knows how I could fix this? Thanks for any hint!Silvestre

Why would you install Rob's gauge when the PMDG 747 already has a pushback gage?

I installed it because of the taxi speed control. It's very hard to control it through the keyboard. I even tried to control the speed with the accelerate wheel on the joystick, but I always had problems when switching CMD and AT off. The speeds never matched and the aircraft would either slow down or accelerate out of the landing speed. That was a hassle. That's why I decided to use Rob's Groundhandling. It works fine where it is on the windshield. I'd just rather to move it over to the main panel for esthetics reasons. Thanks anyway.Silvestre

You could try the modified gauge that Philippe LOUVET made for the PSS Airbus, it is just a icon that pops up the gauge when you need to use it. More than likely just a matter of getting the right location for the icon. I think the name of the file was "Pushback gauge for PSS A319-A320-A321-A330" It might do the trick for you.
