Hi!I was trying to upgrade Bravo to Acclaim. The main difference is maximal speed so I changed in aircraft.cfgReference Speedscruise_speed = 237.0 //Knots True (KTAS)max_indicated_speed = 237 //Red line (KIAS)and increased engine power slightlypiston_enginemax_rated_hp= 280 //Max rated HPBut I am unable to reach that speed. No matter, how much I increase horsepower of the engine. Am I missing something important?Thanks

There are other factors that affect speed. All of them can have unwanted side effects, though, so it takes a lot of testing & tweaking. You might want to try decreasing drag next.-Mick

Well,I found first mistake. The power output of the powerplant seems to be calculated from compression ratio and displacement. The max rated hp propably is just restriction, how much power you can get. What the cruise speed parameter in fact mean (in .cfg file)? Dou you think I should lower inducted drag or parasite drag?
