August 25, 200718 yr Hello!I need to get a blueprint out of an fs-aircraft. So i had an idea: export it to a 3d-programm.is ithis possible or are there other ways to get the blueprint?thank you!!!greetings, markus
August 25, 200718 yr If you are talking about "exporting" a .mdl file, no. A model is "compiled" from a source model created by an artist in a 3D modeling program such as GMax. Your suggestion would be like asking if you can "export" a program (an .exe file) to source C code.Blueprints, or 3-views, can often be found on the Internet by searching for them on well known sites, or with a web search. In fact, the first step in development of any FS aircraft (or scenery for that matter) is often research to gather photos and/or plans. If you do a simple search for "3-views" or "blueprints" sometimes in conjunction with your aircraft's model number you may find what you seek. This frequently asked question is also addressed by this post:http://forums.flightsim.com/dc/dcboard.php...sg_id=518&page=Patrick
