FS98 - FS2k2 scenery

Featured Replies

hi. i downloaded Airport for windows. i was wondering if the FS98 and FS2k API that come with it can be used in FS2k2. im making a simple addon for SAR operations so it only involves adding an api. so far i have not been able to make the scenery work.any ideasGen. It might help to know what the *.api object is. There is nothing wrong with the code for the *.api that prevents it from displaying in any version of FS; but there can be difficulties in FS2K and FS2002 if the texturing of that object is done with the "default" colours.....not all of those colours show properly. At worst, you should see an opaque shape, either black or very faint grey-to-white.Are you sure the "General" menu has been filled out correctly, including coordinates, elevation, etc.? Have you tried using another *.api, of any kind, to verify that your scenery will work?

yep checked everything. the textures are default colors. i looked at the info saying what colors didnt display in 2k so didnt use those.it might be sunk under the elevation. ill try moving it to somewhere low and flat and see what happensGen.
