May 1, 200224 yr When I file a flight plan, my Aircraft type comes up as 737 or something to that effect, even though I am flying a smaller aircraft. Does anyone know how I can change that, because it's greyed out and won't allow me to type in something else? Thanks.
May 1, 200224 yr Are you selecting the proper aircraft type when you file your flight plan with squawkbox? It does not auto-detect the aircraft you are using in MSFS. If you load a flight plan in squawkbox at the top to the flight plan window you are able to select the aircraft from a picklist.Hope that helps.- Murf
May 1, 200224 yr You can build a flight plan directly in squawkbox, but I don't recommend it, as it is tedious. I recommend using FSBuild or FSNavigator to create you flight plans. Then it is just a matter of right clicking in the Squawkbox window going to FMS Functions and selecting Load FMS Flight Plan. This will then open the window I already mentioned where you will be able to select the aircraft you are using.Good Luck- Murf
