Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,Just upgraded my old PIII and installed FS2K2 under Windows 2000 Professional.Everything works fine, except the joystick. Although Win 2000 has successfully added its own driver for the joystick, when I load FS2K2, I rarely have the joystick enabled.I quit the sim, go to Control Panel -> Gaming Options and there it is correctly displayed: The status column displays "unknown" but very shortly afterwords passes to "OK".I load FS2K2 again, and still no joystick ! I've tried the keyboard shortcut "CTRL + K" several times, but it still doesn't work.Any help would be kindly appreciated,Regards,macc1966

Go to the manufacturers web site and grab the last driver.that'll do it

Microsoft has not posted new Win2000 drivers for Force Feed Pro.They say to install the drivers included in the Win 2000 CD and that, I'm already doing. Thanks anyway,macc1966

Do you have the 2nd disk, the "software update"?I have a Force feedback too, i use it with Win Me, every time i reinstall it, it doesn't work with the 1st CD, no feed back, no fuction, at all, then I install the 2nd CD, and everything works fine. I bought mine one year ago, and it was shipped with the 2 CDs.

Yes, it came with 2 CD's, but the second is labeled "Urban Assault", so I thought it had only the game's software.I'll give it a look, as soon as I get home.Thanks,macc1966
