I enjoy FS flying on the Eastern Shore of MD and into DE. I had an idea to create an effect that simulated birds in the vicinity of the runway. I have watched many times on the way up to Dover how the flocks would sit happily feeding in farm fields until one of the C5-A's would come drifting over at pattern altitude doing touch and go's. They would lift off heading straight up for the aircraft and you would think this is going to be bad, then they would settle back down to the ground before reaching it.This is the behavior I would like to model with an effects file but I do not have the time working on my own aircraft model, so I put it out as a challenge to FS2002 fx designers!Steve

That sounds like a cool idea! Wish I knew how to build FX files... I had a similar idea for blowing snow across a runway, but I don't think anyone has taken on that cahllenge yet either.Good luck!:-)David
