"Maintain visual seperation from the 757 on your right slightly lower continue reducing and do not overtake....etc"Its usually used when you are on approach and in formation with another aircraft using the parallel runway. ie 28L/28RPete

TCAS isn't that advanced Pete. TA ONLY just means that you will only receive traffic advisories (i.e. traffic pops up as moving dots and boxes on the Nav Display), and not resolution advisories (i.e. no advice on what to do to avoid a conflict, e.g. climbing or descending).MartinIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
