May 3, 200224 yr I just purchased the Piper Archer yesterday from Flight1, and I was just curious what other people thought about the view from the cockpit. My first impression is that I feel as if my head is tilting down because the outside view in front of the cockpit isn't that great. I've never flown in an Archer, so I'm not sure what the outside view is like. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?Other than that, I think it's a great flying plane, and the sounds and photo-realistic cockpit is awesome. I can't wait to try it out with the new computer I bought yesterday from DELL.Any comments regarding this would be helpful.
May 3, 200224 yr Try clicking your mouse on the top part of the panel. It will switch to a partial landing view panel. There are also many variations possible with the virtual panel. Such as CTRL ENTER/BACKSPACE to move the seating position, then rolling with a hat switch. Between the complete 2D & VC views, it has some of the best cockpit viewing combinations possible.L.Adamson
