no night textures in FSDSv2?

Featured Replies

Hi everybodyI could not find the way to make night textures effects in FSDS v2. I wrote Abacus but no answer and so I went back to fsds v1.Any idea?thanks to all of youChristian, Paris, France

Hi Christian, if your talking about the removed option for night effects on polygon and custom part textures, its quite simple. I had to work it out myself. What you do is texture all the parts as if they are day textures. Then you go into edit/manage texture texture list. You click on add, then you select the texture file. Then you tick the night checkbox and say okay. You may need to go back and remove the night, then go into again and add it...when it will ask you 'change all references in model?' abd you say ok.Now when you see your polygon textures you will see the 'N,' night tag on them.Hope this helps.PS - wouldn't recommend going back to FSDS1 ;)Oli.
