I was flight from KIAD to KSFO I was just on the eastern side of the great lakes using Indianapolis Center when they told me to contact Washington Center. Shortly after back to Indianapolis and the Kansas City.IS where you see me a bit far out from Washington Center range?Pete

I have had some funny ceter instructions while flying out on the east coast myself. But I am not really sure what range and what area each center controls.
