LWM- VTP QUESTION

Featured Replies

Hi I was succesful adding some roads to my scenery using LWMDraw. Can somebody direct me on how do I exclude/errase the default roads appearing on the scenery?Where did all the threads go?

Hi GabrielI think you can open your VTP road source file and change the replace flag to delete default VTP layers of the specified layer but you'll have to experiment and see. If you have a minor road (layer 31) and your VTPLayer line looks like this:VTPLayer 31, 0make it look like this:VTPLayer 31, 1Then re-assemble the source and I believe it'll remove default VTP layer that's specified. I also think there is program tool that'll do the trick as well but I can't think of the name at the moment. Hopefully someone will add that for ya.Hope this helped ya.Ken

Hi Gabriel!Just to add to Ken's post. The above exclusion works if your line (road, river) croses the same LOD8 quadrant (You can see them using CellGrid by Rhumbaflappy). For exclusion of lines in quadrants which Your line does not cross You can use program DefArea. I use both exclusions in my project with a little change of DefArea's output instructions. Some months ago Rhumba published one *.inc here wtih very nice function VTPAreaExclude ,, with which You can replace 3 lines of DefArea with one.Hope it helps You!Best regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net
