New texture in Ground2k

Featured Replies

Hi is it possible to add a new texture to draw with Line/LakeShore? For new texture I intend a texture it doesn't foresee in terraintexture.cfg.Tank

Yes it is possible to add new textures.I have tested it, adding a new type of line in Ground2K/Resource/Ownlines.txt (begin with value 4096)It works, but the result depends on your textures; for Railways the result was very bad.In a first step, I have added such a line before sending the first Ground2K's version but I have deleted it in regards of the result.Christian.

Thanks Cristian I have tried but it don't work. After having created the textures and you insert both in FS2002scenedbworldtexture and in the directory texture of the scenery. I have inserted the following line of text at the end of OwnLines.txt But in FS the texture of the dirt and not that he is visualized by me created. I have tried to add after all also the line of text to terraintexture.cfg but same result. What am I wrong??? Hi

Yesterday I have tested again :- the texture MUST be in the 'Texture' folder of your scenery.- 8 bits extended format created with Imagetool.exe works fine. DXT1 to be check The 'Type=' parameter seems not workingSend me your Ownlines.txt file and your texture (only one if seasonal textures) -> [email protected]
