So How Do You Swap an Airfile?

After watching 2 AI POSKY B767s crash 3 miles out on final and an L-1011 overfly the runway and smash into the mountain side, all in the last 1/2 hour, I was pondering the dilemna: How to correct this weird behavior? Nobody seems to know really.So I wondered about this air file swap thing with default aircraft that do behave OK. Does it work?
