Hi Robi,If you want to get maximum performance, then go for it. DXT1 uses 16bit color depth with 1 bit transparency which is great. Sometimes You can use 256 color bitmaps but if You need transparency... hmmm Using too much transparent 256 color bitmpas will really degrade performance. Anyway try first original bitmaps, then make backup and convert them using Imagetool to DXT1/DXT3 and try again.
