Land Class Assistant

Recommended Posts

Guest

To anyone knowledgeable landclass user,I am trying to get landclass to generate bgls but have been unsuccessul. I have the TMFCOMPRESS,RESAMPLE, and TMF2BGL files together with LANDCLASS BAT and INI FILES. I used FSUIPC to retrieve the coordinates. However, when I run the BAT files nothing is created. Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks for your help.Regards,David S.

Hello David...I'm the author of Landclass Assistant... Always remember, you can drop me an email for support--I'm not always present in this forum, but I do check my email often.Make sure you copy both landclass.inf, landclass.bat and landclass.raw from your program folder (where LCA is installed) into the folder where the SDK tools reside. I'm also assuming you are using the .exe's which came with FS2000's SDK. The batch file will not compile LCA source unless FS2000's SDK is used. The FS2002 resample.exe was changed...Also, make sure you do not click the "Flush" button unless you are erasing the .raw file. I've had some users do this after they'd made changes, essentially erasing their changes. After running the batch file, you should get one bgl file--landclass.bgl. You can then rename it to anything you wish, and install it. Make sure that lf you install landclass scenery in its own folder, there is only a scenery subfolder for the bgl. Do not add a texture subfolder.Regards,John
