DirectX9.0 broke my FSDS2

Recommended Posts

Guest

After updating my DirectX drivers into 9.0b, I have not been able to run FSDS2 v. 2.24 or 2.20 anymore. When starting FSDS2 I'll get following error message:DirectX Error(88760154); DirectX initialization failure. Solid rendering will not be available: Attempting to create Z-buffer. The operation to create a z-buffer in display memory or to perform a blit, using a z-buffer cannot be carried out because there is no hardware support for z-buffers.When pressing OK button in window which has above text, there will be error message:Fsdesign2 This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor. When pressing detail following screen appears: FSDESIGN2 caused an invalid page fault in module at 0000:65726177My system: AMD Duron 800, 256MB memory, ASUS VGP-7100 Geforce2 MX 32MB, Windows 98 SE.I've tried Nvidia drivers 44.03 and 44.69 without any luck. As I mentioned before, I was able to run FSDS2 before updating into DirectX 9.0b. (FS2004 runs OK in my system).- JussiAre there any other fixes available than replacing the graphics card?
