Info re ATIS and AFCAD2

Hi,Little trick I've tried and that works. If you set up an ATIS at different airfields, but that use the same freq, as long as the broadcasts are within range they will be broadcast in order. So you can set up a number of airfields on one freqs to save changing all the time.London has a ATIS on 128.60 giving out various UK fields. I set up three (one each for Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted) and they were transmitted in turn and then the tape started over again.Be aware you can't put the ATIS at an airfield and then use a different ICAO code from that airfield. You have to place the ATIS at each airfield you want the broadcast to use. Lastly if you are on the ground you will only hear that airfield (if its listed) until you are airbourne, then you will hear the others.Rgds Ron
