Ground2L4v51 install problems

Featured Replies

Can anyone help please?I have tried to install the latest ground 2k version but when I run the exe file I get the following message"Cannot find the file G:ground2K4_v52SETUP.EXE(or one of its components) check to ensure that all required libraries are available."I am using ground 2k v3.04 but cannot load on anything higher than this. I would really appreciate any assistance.ThanksColinpsI have downloaded the file many times (and on different computers) just in case it was corrupted during the download process.

Last plea for help. I still cannot open the exe file and am desperate to use this programme with FS9. Does anyone have any idea why I can't open this file?Do I have to remove all previous traces of Ground 2k before I try to install?Colin

Try renaming the install folder to "ground2k" and move it to your root folder "c:"

Thanks for the suggestion but I have tried that already and all that happened was that I could not even load up Ground2k in that or any directory. I have now got it to work by copying my backed up G2K into its original directory and then overwriting with each subsequent version in turn until I got to the latest version. It seemed that if I skipped an update, the next version would not install. I must have something wrong somwhere but at last I can now start up again and get designing.Colin
