Valdez help

I'm designing the Valdez marine terminal and terminal area in EOD (terminal dock) and FSSC (all else) . So far so good. The only prob and I can't find an answer in readme/help, is how to make the dock surface landable!!!!I'm running FS2k2 and I DO have the crash detection on. For the life of me, I am pulling my hair out on this one. Anyone with any insite. I'm probably missing something stupid. Thanks.John HoganP.S. Also started the Trans Alaskan Pipeline. Will have all 800 miles (well, ok, only 420 above ground!) for my VA's AK operations.P.P.S. Also, how the heck do I make a pond with a small island in the middle?

Gday John. to make the Pond with the Island you can either use SBuilder or Ground2K4.SBuilder can be DL from http://www.ptsim.com/downloads/sb106a.zip with some tutorials due anyday now for new users of this type of scenery. For the Hard Surface for the Dock in FS2K2 your best way would be to hand code this surface as an Advanced Building Type ( this is an invisible building of Zero Height yet still has a hard surface that is landable ) .If you email me at jeff@vic-sim.com and mark the Email as Valdez Helipad i can send you a sample of the code and method to create it when i can find my Ref file on my untidy system !rgds Jeff

Jeff; Thanks for the help. I finally figured it out. Just put a smooth surface area at the altitude of the dock and VOILA!!!! All is well. I really appreciate your help and advice. Thanks.John H.
